Ian JonesJuris Doctor
Ian was born in Little Rock, Arkansas. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Prior to attending the University of Tulsa College of Law, he served as a Teach For America corps member. He taught 6th grade science and social studies at KIPP Tulsa College Preparatory where he fostered a love for advocating for families and children.
During law school, Ian served as the vice president of the Public Interest Board, president of the Black Law Student Association, served in the Community Advocacy Clinic, and participated in the American Association of Justice Mock Trial Competition. Ian also studied abroad in Ireland where he learned about the distinctions between American and Irish Family Law. He received his law degree in 2018.
In his spare time, Ian enjoys cooking and baking; swimming, and reading novels.
