{"id":2977,"date":"2025-02-14T17:24:55","date_gmt":"2025-02-14T23:24:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mcclure-lawgroup.com\/blog\/?p=2977"},"modified":"2025-02-26T07:52:13","modified_gmt":"2025-02-26T13:52:13","slug":"texas-appeals-court-affirms-international-travel-restrictions-for-child-in-divorce-decree","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mcclure-lawgroup.com\/blog\/texas-appeals-court-affirms-international-travel-restrictions-for-child-in-divorce-decree\/","title":{"rendered":"Texas Appeals Court Affirms International Travel Restrictions for Child in Divorce Decree"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Fourteenth Court of Appeals recently reversed a trial court\u2019s order imposing restrictions on international travel for a child whose mother had ties to Russia.\u00a0 In another <a href=\"https:\/\/cases.justia.com\/texas\/third-court-of-appeals\/2025-03-23-00536-cv.pdf?ts=1739368612\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recent<\/a> case, however, the Third District Court of Appeals determined there was no error in a trial court\u2019s imposition of travel restrictions for a child in a Texas divorce decree involving a mother with ties to India.<\/p>\n<p>The parties\u2019 son was nine years old when the final divorce decree was signed in 2023.
